TS CREW Staff Continues Training & Certification Efforts in Orlando, FL

Orlando, FL - Trade Show Supply's I&D services team, TS CREW, continued working towards their I&D certification this month, by participating in the EACA / IATSE joint training and educational workshops at the Orange County Convention Center complex March 19th-21st.

10 full-time TS CREW I&D service technicians participated in the 3-day training workshop at the Orlando Convention Complex, which included training workshops on Customer Service, Octanorm exhibit systems product training, and product training on Skyline portable and modular exhibit products. "The Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Association brought in a nationally recognized expert on customer service, Dr. Randy Eppard, to work with our staff. It was a great opportunity for our team to hear an outside expert promote the same values and customer service focus that our own corporate training program emphasizes", explains company President, Chris Griffin.

About 90 attendees, from TS CREW, the IATSE local 835 union, and various other Exhibitor Appointed Contractor companies participated in the workshops. "I found the Day 2 'Train the Trainer' session particularly helpful to me ", stated Phil Scheuer, an Operations Manager with TS CREW who's duties include training and development of all I&D service personnel at the company. "Anytime you can pick up a fresh perspective on how to implement the habits and behaviors we're trying to instill in our I&D service team, it's a good thing", says Scheuer.

Pete Griffin, Field Operation Manager for TS CREW, liked the fact that an I&D training summit like this brings the entire Orlando contractor community together. "One of the great things about the tradeshow industry in Orlando Florida is the spirit of cooperation and support that exists between ALL companies on the show floor...even competitors. Everybody in this town is willing to help and assist each other on the show floor, because we know that ultimately, tradeshow exhibitors judge us as one in Orlando. If we contractors all work together to make a tradeshow a great experience for the exhibitors, then the tradeshow exhibitors will all want to come back to Orlando for their next event. And that's good for everybody".

The TS CREW training and certification program has generated interest from custom houses and exhibit dealers nationwide, that use the company's I&D labor services. "The bottom line is great customer service behavior and habits don't happen by accident. It takes dedication and discipline to the effort. And we have a group of employees that are totally committed to this effort, and to being the best at what we do!"
